General information
The Seminar is about applications and problems related to the numerical solution of polynomial systems. Participants should pick one of several projects and present their own solution using the Julia (julialang.org) package HomotopyContinuation.jl (juliahomotopycontinuation.org).
The seminar can be seen as the practical counterpart of the lecture Condition: The Geometry of Numerical Algorithms. It can serve as a preparation for the Thematic Einstein Semester Varieties, Polyhedra, Computation in the winter term 2019/20.
