I am a postdoctoral researcher with Sjoerd Dirksen at the Mathematical Institute of Utrecht University. My research profile lies at the interface of applied functional analysis, high-dimensional probability & statistics, inverse problems, and machine learning. I am particularly interested in signal- & image-processing, compressed sensing, sparse recovery, and low-complexity models in general. My current focus is on the development and analysis of deep-learning-techniques for these subjects.

Prior to Utrecht, I completed my PhD in 2019 with Gitta Kutyniok at the Institute of Mathematics of the Technical University of Berlin. There, I also received my BSc and MSc degree in 2013 and 2015, respectively.
