We are currently investigating the following research fields:

Applied and Numerical Linear Algebra

  • Algorithmic Linear Algebra: High Performance Computing, Numerical Stability and Fault Tolerance [1] (Einstein Foundation [2])
  • Stability Analysis of Power Networks and Power Network Models [3] (ECMath [4])

Control Theory

  • Reduced Order Modeling for Data Assimilation [5] (Einstein Foundation [6])
  • Development of a reduced order model of a pulsed detonation combuster [7], within the Collaborative Research Centre 1029: Substantial efficiency increase in gas turbines through direct use of coupled unsteady combustion and flow dynamics [8], funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG [9] Project)

Analysis and Numerical Solution of Differential-Algebraic Equations

  • Modeling, Simulation and Control of Multi-Physics Systems [10] (ERC [11] Projekt)
