The EDP research area contains the computer engineering of the working and research groups of the Institute of Mathematics including EDP within administration and administrative offices. The engineering is available predominantly for the members and the guests of the Institute of Mathematics.

For students of mathematics the computer equipment in the Teaching area (Unix-Pool) is available.

Associated with the EDP research area are the 3D-Labor [1] and the Computeserver [2] of the institute, which can be used on demand by members of the TU Berlin.

The usage of the computer engineering of the EDP research area is subject to the Benutzerordnung [3] (Rules) for the EDP area of the Institute of Mathematics!
