Coronavirus - limited presence mode and IT support
The TU Berlin organize their work because of Corona-Virus in limited presence mode since May, the 18th. All employees should work at home if it is not necessary to come to the buildings and offices of TU Berlin. Therefore the IT department of the Institute of Mathematics also mainly working from home office. We do our best to support you actively and to solve IT-technical questions and problems. You can reach us under our usual mail addresses for support. The main support address is firstname.lastname@example.org .
Please understand that support requests for IT-problems directly at the offices currently take longer to process.
Follows some information for you on how to work in your home office.
Use our webmailer to access the e-mails at the Institute of Mathematics:
You can also configure our mail server mail.math.tu-berlin.de  in your mail program.
Under Windows, use programs such as PuTTY and WinSCP for terminal access and data transfer from and to the desktop computers. Linux users can work with ssh / scp. For macOS the graphical tool Cyberduck is available for data transfer in addition to ssh / scp.
We also support the VPN access to our network, if the VPN of tubIT (ZECM) with its authorizations is not sufficient.
