Recommendations for first-year-students

These books are recommended by the lecturers of the introductory classes and the student assistants of the Mathematics Library. (Since these courses are in German, the recommended books are also in German. If you're looking for books in English just ask us [2]and we try to help.)

The books are displayed next to the information desk of the Mathematics Library at the beginning of every semester for four weeks.
